CORBIN CEYLON EASTLAKE MORTISE LOCK with KEY VERY NICE 5 1/4 FACEPLATE (7106)

Vintage, circa 1895: Salvaged CORBIN Eastlake mortise lock. The face plate of the mortise is cast brass. The design is designated as B-11400 by Blumin in the knob book and it is a Corbin \'CEYLON\' design. The mortise lock comes with the key. We usually have plates that match this design running in another sale.

The mortise lock finish has not been cleaned, original patina, intricate Eastlake design in the casting of each piece. Beautiful!

Mortise lock has a front plate length of 5 1/4\" and a width of 7/8\" and thickness of 1/16\". Set back from the front edge of the face plate to the center of the knob post hole is 2 3/8, drop from the center of the knob post hole to the center of the top of the key slot is 2 1/8\".

Would give a nice Eastlake look to any door!
