How garments are measured:

Bust: Measurement directly under the armpits and doubled

Waist: Measurement at (most likely) spot of waist, then doubled.

Length: Middle of shoulder to bottom of garment. If strapless, then measurement is from top of garment (at bust) to bottom of garment.

Shoulders:: Measurement across the top of the garment from shoulder seam to shoulder seam.

Sleeves: For men\'s long sleeved shirts, measurement taken from the back of the middle of theneck to the end of the cuff.For women\'s garments, measurement taken from the shoulder seam to theend of the cuff.

Waist:For pants and skirts, measurement taken across the very top, then doubled. For shirts and dresses, measurement at about 6-8 inches below the armpit, then doubled.

Hips: For pants and skirts, measurement taken about 8-9 inchesdown from the waist, then doubled. For shirts and dresses, measurement taken at about 14-16 inches below the armpit, then doubled.

Length: For skirts, from the front center of the garment from the top of the waist to the bottom of the hem. For shirts and dresses, from the shoulder seam to the bottom of the hem.

Inseam: Along the inside leg from the crotch seam to the bottom hem.

Flare: For pants, measure at the end of the pant leg across the bottom opening. Not doubled.
