Another fine example of Calvin Martinez\'s creativity is being sold from my personal Calvin Martinez collection. I added this piece to my collection in the mid to late 1990\'s.
Although Calvin is known for his old style Navajo jewelry he has periodically ventured away from this style to create some modern looking work.
This bolo tie is Hopi inspired in that Calvin created this piece using the overlay technique which the Hopi\'s introduced to their jewelry in the 1940\'s. The design is also Hopi inspired reminiscent of the man in the maze design.This bolo tie is in excellent condition - never worn, only admired and rarely handled.
