This is a very nice 1940s glass vase by the Cambridge Glass Company. The blown-out leaves and poppies are painted . They are very dramatic against the black background. One set of poppies is painted . The other set of poppies are not painted and are black, but are also blown out. The vase measures 9 inches high by about 6 inches wide. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, etc. There is some minor paint loss to the colored poppy and bud. It has a wonderful art nouveau feel. It is a very pretty vase.
