This is avery unusual and rare candle holder by Camille Tharaud (1878-1956). The entire piece is gray in color. It depicts a reclining man with one leg tucked under the other.Both hands are on the arm rests. The opening for the candle is at the top of his head.This design is very odd yet fascinating. I could not find another in my research.
The candle holder is marked on the bottom:Tharaud with the letter \"C\" wrapped around it. A circle with a capital \"T,\" and France above the circle and Limoges below.
There are no condition issues. It is in perfect condition.
