Tr. L. Forgue, St. Johns Cav. (Impressed correctly in sans serif letters).
Extremely fine.
Louis Forgue (spelt Forgus on Thyen\'s published roll) was from St Jean, Quebec and appears in at least 2 censuses for the period. He also became a member of the 8th Stadacona Royal Rifles (info per ancestry).
There were only (12) medals awarded to this small unit.
