WW1 CEF Silver War Medal to Fredric PIPER for service with 146th Canadian Infantry Battalion, who was born in Bombay, India and attested for service in Kingston, Ont. on Feb 18th 1916 at 32 years of age. A very scarce medal to this Battalion was absorbed into the 12th Reserve Battalions, only those soldiers who reached England but were not absorbed in to the 12th Reserve Battalions and sent to the front retained the original 146-Can. Inf. on the medal. Impressed along edge: 835651 A.S.SJT. F. PIPER 146-CAN. INF. With correct WW1 ribbon. Medal is in good condition, a copy of his attestation paper as found on archives.ca/cef site included.Please read before buying:
