Small tightly woven river cane hand carved wood Inuit Basket. The top is carved with an intricate scrolling pattern that has a lizard on top. The lid fits tightly, which a sign of excellent craftsmanship. I found another one like it, without the same carving, and it was listed as I have listed this one. It is not signed. I purchased it at an estate sale, along with another one I already sold, so I do not know the basket\'s background. It is 5.5 inches long, and 3.75 wide.
