This is a 2.5 diameter Carcharodontosaurus vertebra that was buried and eventually fused to a very large crocodile scute with mud and minerals and a couple of million years of pressure. Cool the way it is and also an excellent piece for someone who likes to take field material and prep it themselves. The sediment is soft and a toothbrush with a little water and dental pick will clean these specimens up nicely. When you are done you will have a vertebrae from the \"African T rex\" and a large scute from an extinct species of crocodile. This comes from the Kem Kem Formation in SE Morocco.
