SPECTACULAR ANTIQUE FRENCH STERLING SILVER TEA & COFFEE SET LOUIS XVI STYLE
Noblesse Collection propose you through the photos which follow this very beautiful set with a typical decoration of French Louis XVI style.This type of set of one very high quality of execution was reserved for the upper middle class in the 1900s.
The style Louis XVI is today in great demand, in particular because of the quality of the decorations which join a style on returning to the Classicism beingcharacterized by a rediscovery of the Antiquity, and which began in 1774, at the beginning of the reign of the King of France Louis XVI.
Here we present you a set signed by CARDEILHAC which were a dynasties of Parisian silversmiths from 1802 until its repurchase by Christofle in 1951.They exposed their creations in almost all the World Fairs of period and were awarded medal in Paris in 1855, 1867, 1878, 1889. And in London in 1862.
The inside of the sugar bowl is in silver-gilt (vermeil).
