Measures 8 x 12, excellent condition, and almost certainly printed by Alexandre Mildleton who also printed the \"Courrier de la Grenade.\" This came with several very similar items (same size, same subject) of which one has both a Mildleton and a Grenada imprint. The offered item relates to the naval battle of July 6, 1779 which signaled d\'Estaing\'s conquest of this British possession. SEE SCANS. The island remained in French hands until 1783. A scarce print, probably from the only press in Grenada, and in pristine condition. The bookseller William Reese has written that \"Due to the humid climate in the area, 18th-century imprints from the West Indies are virtually unobtainable.\" Payment via Paypal, though other forms of payment are usually accepted.
