Hello, here is a fantastic carved stem Spontoon Pipe Tomahawk. It sports the original or period haft that has been exquisitly carved with geometric forms. It has a carved and punched out hole near smoking end for a drop, which was executed in the classic Native American style. The Patina on this hawk is second to none and really shows a deep rich \"skin\" that only a real & old \'Hawk will have. The head is of the spontoon type and highly decorated. On the blade itself it sports 14 punch dot cutouts, 6 pointed stars and other misc designs put onto the blade. Also there are serrations on both sides of the blade both top and bottom closest to the haft. The bowl is tall and somewhat plain with classic chevron attaching same to the outside eye of the hawk. Overall this is a fantastic piece. The haft is 19 3/8\" long and the Spontoon head is 9 1/4\" from back of bowl to tip of point. A great 19th century Spontoon Tomahawk.
