I have up for salea nice olive/amber case gin bottle. The bottle is 9 1/4 inches tall and has a iron pontiled base. The bottle has a two piece mold with a crude lip. I believethis is American as the lip looks just like the ones on the barrel bitters bottles. One flake in the lip that could have been slag in the lipping material popping off. Very nice bottle with someslight wear. Never in the ground or cleaned.This bottle dates toabout the 1850s.No otherchips, cracks, or other damage.
