This is aCastello Trademark Smooth Straight Billiard, grade KKK. I actually have found this exact pipe\'s old listing on smokingpipes.com, and since they\'re professionals I\'ll use their description below:

Red is (usually) the stain applied to Trademarks, but the exact hue of red changes from time to time, and sometimes they go with another stain, altogether. Makes identifying a grade \"on the fly\" from across a room a tad difficult at times. The grain seems about on par with most Trademark \"KKK\" pipes that I have run across, and follows the English lead of placing cross cut grain on the front and back of the bowl, and birdseye on the sides.

This pipe is as beautiful now as it was then, and pictures do it no justice. There is somesome rim darkening and the bottom part of the stem by the bit has a tiny (<1 mm) hole in it. However, because of its position near the bit you won\'t notice the hole when smoking. You could also put a softy bit on and never notice it was there.

Brand new Trademarks of this grade sell for $350+.
