Many times corners and edges were trimmed so they could be fitted into cabinet, cdv and tintype albums. Sometimes glue adhering the image to the cabinet or cdv card has come loose in places. There could also be foxing, creases, folds, warps, paper separation as well as scrapes, scratches, pinhole marks. There will also be soiling, spotting and yellowing, So please be aware of these things when looking to buy old photos.
