ARCHITECTURAL CAST IRON CELTIC CROSS WALL PLAQUE. New. This beautiful, sturdy cast iron Cross is wonderfully contrasted by its deep antiqued natural pewter grey finish with a hint of rust and intricate detailed knot work design. The Celtic Cross originates from the union of Christianity with the older earth-lore of the Druids. The cross represents Christianity; the circle around the center is the Celtic representation of eternity, with no beginning and no end. The four directions of the cross represent the North, South, East and West or the four elements Earth, Fire, Air and Water. Two pre-drilled mounting holes. Measures 10 ¼” high x 6 ¾” wide and 3/8” thick. If you prefer a different finish, you can easily paint this piece the color of your choice.
