This item is a very nice, and convenient portable announcing system, made by Chamberlain. The Perma Power Model S-220 system is perfect for anyone that has portable amplified voice needs (sales, parties, training, meetings, etc.). The system can be used with the power cord or run off 8 9 volt batteries of any type. They don\'t have to be re-chargeable. They will charge with the system plugged. The system comes with an Ampli-Vox microphone, which is hard wired into the unit. There are also 2 microphone jacks, and a Aux. Input jack to plug in a tape recorder, phonograph, or tuner. There is a stand for the microphone that can be used on a table, or hung around the speakers neck. The sound is terrific and the unit will serve you for many years. Also, included are the original Operating Instructions and Service Reference Information, which includes schematics and a parts list. The unit measures 14\" long x 10\" tall x 4 1/2\" deep. The unit weighs 10 lbs.
