Charles Andre Joseph Marie de Gaulle [1890 1970] was a French general, resistant, writer and statesman who served as the leader of Free France during World War II [1940to 1944] head of the Provisional Government of the French Republic [1944 - 1946] the Prime Minister of France [1958 -1959] and as the President of the French Republic from [1959 to 1969].He was a dominantfigure of France during the Cold War era and his memory continues to influence French politics.Listed for sale is the autograph of Charles Andre Joseph Marie de Gaulle. The autograph is signed on a page \'\'C.d Gaulle\'\' in blue fountain pen. The page measures approximately3.25 x 2.00 inches, it has toning and a trivial surface crease otherwise it is in fine condition. The autograph has been professionaly doubled matted along with a formal military image of Charles de Gaulle in a off-white outer matte and a black inner matte. The display measures 12,00 x 16.00 inches and is constructed of acid free materials and is ready for display. The autograph is authentic andis a nice example of this prominent French statesman and military commander.
