This is a lovely figurine. Color and attention to detail are wonderful.

This little boy is \"Teddy\" he is marked and date 1953 (\"53\") on the bottom.

He is wearing a gray suit and hat and is carrying a bouquet.

He measures 4 3/4\" tall, retains his \"Josef Originals, California\" and \"TEDDY\" labels; and is in very nice condition with just a few flea bite nicks on the bouquet he is carrying and two on the bottom back edge of the base.Please see my close up photos.

As with all of the California Josef Originals there is light crazing.

Muriel Joseph started making figurines in California.
Later she had them manufactured in Japan and then in other countries as well.
This is one of her early California pieces.
Because of a printing error on her first labels her pieces became \"Josef Originals\" instead of Joseph Originals. Please review my photos as they are part of my description and feel free to ask questions.I will be listing more Josef Originals from my personal collection.
