Vintage Little Bo Peep Puzzle Tin

Absolutely charming vintage tin with Little Bo Peep on the lid. It once contained a puzzle, and likely dates to the 1930s. The base is a teal or turquoise blue, and the artwork on the lid also incorporates this color, along with some green and yellow, and red-orange accents.The tinhas a definite antique or vintage look and bit of a beat-up appearance, which some of us find charming.

CONDITION:

The tin has vintage/antique wear and patina, which includes some small areas of wear, some scratches and scuffs, handling marks and soiling, some small dents and dings, etc.

Additional condition issues of note:

· Good bit of denting on lid, mostly small-ish and mild-ish, but the sum creates a dented appearance. (Not showing in pictures as well as I’d like.)

· Noticeable wear around edges of lid, and on upper areas of base.

· Good bit of generalized vintage soiling.

· Lots of small dings around base, too, and a dent on bottom edge.

· Some early rust starting on metal rims, as well as here and there elsewhere on tin.

· Inside and bottom are dark with patina, some surface rust, particularly at interior crevice and around bottom edges of tin.

· Open/close requires a little coaxing.

Approximate size of tin is about 6” in diameter by about 2.25” tall.

The tin is empty.
