Charming and Unusual 3 Light Vintage French Chandelier in Bronze:

A very sweetchandelier with beautiful decorativeperiod features, marked JJ Ghidini.

Thebronze ceiling rose has plumes of embossed feathers rising elegantly from the centre with a sweeping furled design around the rim. The chain is made up of alternateplainandlarge decorativelinks and it joins to a superb embossed trefoil hook at the top of the chandelier.

There is a slender bronze post at the centre of the chandelier that has a gorgeous scalloped rose at the top formed with a swirl of feathers as on the ceiling rose above.

Each of the three arms extending from the base of the chandelier have a long plumed extension rising up from them, each one with lavish curls andsuperb embossed detailing. The arms have the same lush design with the candle cups at each end matching exactly the rose in the centre. All are complete with faux candle sleeves.

Thestriking base of the light has a richly plumed pattern radiating from themiddle and exquisitely embossed period coquilles set around the rim.A bronze finial the centre completes this gorgeous chandelier.

Ingood vintage condition, the bronze as can be seen in the photos has some marks of age and use, and the remarkable attention to decorative detail give a lovely overall aspect when the light is hung.
