Our library had displays of many chess sets in the 1970s and throughoutthe later decades. But the donations occurred mostly in the 1970s. They have been stored for a number of years, and it is time to sell them. The note on this setstates: \"Hand-carved by ANRI. Internationally known as creator of painted wood figures. Italy. A gift from...\"
