Vintage Chinese cinnabar box with a peony design. The yellow material is unknown. It is has a black lacquer interior.Age: estimated mid to late 20th century. Measurements: measuring the exterior, it is approximately 2\" in diameter. Please note the size since the pictures are enlarged for detail. Condition: it appears in overall good condition. There is some surface wear and discoloration on the exterior. At close inspection, the yellow material looks a bit flakey. The interior looks good with no damage.
