Thisis an sale for a champlevé decorated bronze vase probably from Hong Kong/China influenced by the English Art Deco architecture.
An extremely unique and rare Centre Piece.With is aplethora of high-end skill and craftsmanship having gone into this piece, it is truly down to the owner in presenting it in the style of which they feel it deserves. The champleve/cloisonne work is beautiful!
It measures:
Approximately 31cm high
The top and the base are a Rhombus in shape, skewed, 28cm one way and about 24.5cm the other...
The base is 15.25cm by 14cm respectively with Small damage on one corner (see the last pic). This takes nothing away from this quirky antique!Would look great on a glass surface or in a more rustic surrounding.
It is fairly heavy, somewhere between 3-4kg I think?
