Click to View Image Album ** Chinese Nephrite Jade Scepter Plaque, Circa 18th Century. Jade is of a translucent light celadon color with white inclusions, russet areas and natural veins throughout. Oval scepter plaque with rounded top carved in a low relief and incised design of two peaches with branches, leaves and two bats. The back carved precisely with thinner areas giving more contrast throughout the design. Nice old polish to jade.
WIDTH: 8.2 cm (3.2 in), LENGTH: 10 cm (3.9 in), WEIGHT: 1.44 oz
CONDITION: Multiple chips to edges ranging from 4 mm to less than 1 mm in size. Natural veins / natural cracks throughout jade. Nice old polish. (SEE PHOTOS BELOW)
