Here is a vintage hand decorated porcelain egg that was made in China in the Japanese decorative style of Satsuma. This is a rendition made during the 3rd quarter of the 20th century in China.
It is a beautifully crafted porcelain egg depicting a scene with walking women on the bridge over a stream with overview of a mountains.This piece is divided into 4 different panels or \"reserves\":two panels--walking on the beds of flowers geishas and women with children on the wooden bridge under the colorful Parasols. On the left -- an open water, on the right --flowering Sacura.Two other panels -- decorated with flowers and butterflies.On the top - depiction of a flower in the gilded circle.
Panels with mountains have a faint ivory tint and a \"crackle glaze\" with tiny faint lines.
