Beautiful so called 18 of Luohan snuff bottle. Called 18 Luohan because there are 18 Luohan buddhists molded around this bottle. It is really very beautiful and detailed, a very rare object, especially because of the unusual enamel base which is green.
Stopper is most probably made of red coral and green jade, and the spoon is probably made of bone.It is marked with a 4 character mark and of the 18th/19th century (Jiaqing) . It is amazing how they could have made this. all those details are really outstanding, especially considering the size :
7.9 centimeters high including stopper ( 3.1 inch)
This is a rare object and very collectable ! Recently one is sold by a big sale house for nearly 9000 euro.
