A compendium of brief works: “Alethianism or Shakerism,”“Testimonia,” “Heavenly Love,” and “Marriage” (by John Kenworthy). Printed inside the front cover is the notice:“For over sixty years we have beenacquiring and testing the knowledge here presented, and it has been oursalvation from the old Accusing Serpent, that deceives the whole world.”
It seems that Hollister meant this publication toprovide brief essays on important and poignant topics, from the Shakerperspective of course.
