Chokin is a fascinating oriental art form that has been taken to a very high level by HIMARK of Japan. These two chokin plates are highly complimentary, both having the hummingbird theme, and in very good condition. Please see photos and examine in detail. We examined these under magnification and did not find any cracks, chips, or crazing. We do see some wear on the inner circle/top border of the hummingbird over water plate. Both items are 6\" plates, and of very similar color. We understand that the plates are edged with gold, and the reverse side manufacturer\'s label verifies their origin and brand.
