Art Deco tea set. Made by Christofle in France, ca. 1925. This set comprises 1 teapot with hinged cover, 1 creamer, 1 sugar with cover, and 1 kettle on stand.

The kettle on stand is silver plate. All other pieces sterling silver.

All pieces have chamfered corners. All handles bracket and all covers stepped.

The teapot and kettle spouts are diagonal. The creamer spout has angular lip spout. The stand has two bracket supports with open rectangles and central laddering, and rests on 4 chamfered supports.

A fine service that captures the novelty and daring of Art Deco. Fully hallmarked. Excellent condition with delicate and tawny patina.
