Circa 1240 Antique Latin Paris Bible Leaf Vellum Manuscript Hand Illuminated 2:

Bought a number of these ten years ago from a prominent seller based in Akron, Ohio. All are small pages from a Paris Bible, hand-scribed in brown, blue, and red ink on vellum circa 1240. These are typically small leaves, as most Paris Bibles were, but the workmanship on these is extraordinary - they are absolute works of art as well as phenomenal pieces of Christian history.
This particular leaf is from 2nd Kings and discusses, among other things, finding THE BOOK OF THE LAW. Included with each leaf will be the printed-out completed listing I kept with the pages to ensure I didn\'t get them mixed up. These give you the provenance, from what I understand, of the Bible from which these came which was eventually broken up into the individual leaves.
Leaf is in an acid-free acrylic protector which it can easily be removed from if you like - I framed many of them and will be selling off some pieces which have just been in a box, and that\'s a shame because they deserve to be seen and enjoyed.
