A Leaf from a medieval manuscript Bible with contemporary notes: Paris, France, mid 13th century, In Latin On Vellum (197x134mm.). There are fifty-five lines of double column text in microscopic-miniscule Gothic script. Book headings, chapter numbers, four large versal initials “E\", “N”, “D”, \"E\" and “T” alternating in red and blue pen work with fantastic large scrolling Pen Work. THis leaf is from The Book of Psalms and contains Psalm Numbers: 60 - 67 versofifty-five lines of double column text in microscopic-miniscule Gothic script, with one large versal initial “D” in red pen work with lovely blue scrolling pen work and the letter \"E\" in blue with red scrolling penwork. Bible leaves have become rare. Condition: Fine [F].
