One of a kind artist proof of the important Civil war print \"Sherman\'s March to the Sea\" by O. C. signed Darley, in excellent condition. Photos do not do this justice. Very crisp image quality. Backing was replaced at some point. Quartersawn oak frame exterior dimensions of 57 x 42.5 inches. This is believed to be in the original frame. Interior frame dimensions are 48 x 33 inches. Image only is 40 x 25 inches. Hand signed in pencil by both the artist illustrator Darley, and the engraver A. H. Ritchie, considered greatest engraver of the time. Proof is dated 1868 and does not have the title added, The title is on the regular production run which was published in different sizes through the 1880s -- This is the largest image size. Prefer not to ship. It would have to be crated and freighted. Example to east coast would cost several hundred dollars to crate and ship. Will attempt to sell Local Pickup Only.Kevin (425) 802-4262
