Circa 1900 Western Union Bergmann Telegraph Key Stock Ticker Edison Phonograph:

An Antique Western Union Stock Ticker in \"as found\" condition. This recent find I would date around 1900 or so. It is stamped with serial number \"418\". It was found with a spool of ticker tape still mounted on the cast iron reel. It appears clean inside with very nice bronze work. It is also stamped, \"BERGMANN & CO. NEW-YORK\". There was another spool of tape found with it that has a red date stamp on it of Sept 22, 63\'. The inside frame is also marked with \"386\" and \"418\". It looks like the base was repainted black with gold details at some point. It has a glass globe that measures 9 1/2\" in diameter by 12\" high. The globe has black tape around the bottom rim which does not rest inside of the rim lip. It is balanced on the very top edge, so we cannot say whether it is original to this machine or not. The overall height with the globe attached is 14 1/2\". Check out the photos!!
