This is just a stunning beauty in unseen condition for it\'s age. Dating to 1937, this is a satin top with cotton balance handmade, applique and then embroidered. This has a lovely bed skirt attached so it just falls every so elegantly. The color is a peachy pink, and is soft and ladylike. The top is applique floral roses in three areas down center of quilt, then it has an all over embroidered pattern. Back is tea colored cotton fabric. Condition is outstanding with just a bit of fray at top and bottom as shown in last photos and one shade area on skirt, it doesn\'t jump out so it\'s hard to find, I tried to photo it picture #7. It was lightly used with just min. wear showing, very clean quilt, can be displayed or used as bed cover. It measures 56\" wide and 75\" or so long, it\'s a full size, which isn\'t a surprise being they didn\'t have Queen size beds yet. The skirt has a 22.5\" drop, so you could place this on the Queen bed using ruffle to make up the 4\" difference in size.
