This is an amazing piece of history from the Civil War era. An outstanding autograph album signed by the principal personalities of the Civil War America. Signed by President Lincoln, his cabinet, Civil War Generals from North and South and distinguished members of both houses of Congress. It comes with a second binder with photos and short bio\'s for most of the signers. (pictures include sampling of binder pages). I received this incredible book from an employer after 25 years of service instead of a gold watch. I hold this item in greatesteem but recent events have put me in a difficult financial situation so I am putting it up for sale. The book was purchased from a highly regarded dealer of historical items out of San Francisco, HIstoricana. Included with the pictures is the page from the original Historicana catalog showing the album listing. You can see on this page his selling price for the album of $24,000. My employer negotiated a price with Historicana of $20,000, and that is what he paid for it. (I found this out from hisbookkeeper). I am selling it here on for a much discountedprice while at the same time not giving it away.
