Civil War Confederate Wool Blanket:
$202.50

Up for offer is an outstanding reproduction of what is known as the \"Brooke\" blanket as seen on page 203 of \"Echoes Of Glory, Arms and Equipment of the Confederacy\" This blanket is attributed to Private Brooke of the Richmond Howitzers and is in excellent condition. In full disclosure I did find about three tiny moth nips in the blanket, but it does not affect the weave at all. The wool is coarsely woven and perfectly replicates a soldiers blanket that was made on a southern loom. The wool is actually quite soft and not at all scratchy and will keep the chill off during the summer reenacting season. This blanket has been stored in a plastic tote for about ten years now and comes from a smoke-free home. I\'m not even sure if this blanket is still made any longer, but I am now retired from Civil War reenacting, so I have no further use for it. Best of all, this is being offered at so offer today!
