This lovely 1850-60\'s gown is made from a gorgeous colorful print that looks Moroccan to me. IT\'s a beautiful, semi sheer silk gauze with woven satin stripes. The sleeves have dropped shoulders with 2 bands of ruching around the upper arms, each of the seams have narrow self piping in the seams. The bottom of the sleeves are full and gathered, lined with organza and trimmed with green and white silk fringe. The bodice is lined in white cotton and it hooks down the front. The skirt is pleated around the waist and not lined. The silk has some tears and splits, most are fairly small, but there are some similar to the one I photo\'d in the 2-3 inch area. WIth the colorful print, mended they would be hard to see. There\'s also some tears on the bodice, long ones on the shoulders and along the front opening, underarms are very good. Frayed along the bottom fold of the hem. It will make a gorgeous display gown. It measures 28 inches around the bust, waist is 22, shoulder to waist 13 3/4 and it\'s 55 inches long.
