This stunning, soft, ultra-fine wool cape needs to be seen and felt to be fully appreciated. It is a delicate shade of creamy white and trimmed with 2 ½ + inch (6.8 cm) wide, edge-patterned pink silk ribbon and finished with a swirl of matching silk cord ending in elaborate 5 inch (12.5 cm) long tassels at the end of the deep back point of the collar made to look like a hood, and piped around the neckline and extending into betassled ties in the front. It is cut longer in the back and shaped with darts hidden under the collar at the shoulders. The cape itself is unlined, but the collar/faux hood is lined with thin white glazed cotton.
It is 40.5 inches (102.8 cm) long at the center back, 29 inches (73.5 cm) long at center front, and 136 inches (346 cm) around the hem to spread gracefully over a hoop skirt.
