Letter written by Caleb Glick to his parents in Circleville,Ohio - Camp Marietta Sunday Morning Sept. 21,62. \" arrived Camp Marietta all safe and sound. We left Camp Circleville at half past seven o\"clock in the morning and arrived at the widow Crouse\'s farm a quarter past eleven, where we remained a couple hours to eat dinner - at about two o\'clock the march was renewed toward Chillicothe where we took the cars at seven for Camp Marietta where we arrived at eleven yester - morning. All tired some was sleepy some feet was sore some sick others gave out - Camp situated on the east bank of the Muskingum river only but two miles from the Virginia line - Marietta is very beautifuly laid out, some splended buildings are in it.
