The Belle of the Ball, or wonderful for costume events. Little House on the Prairie, Steampunk, Victorian, Civil War. This full skirted dress can accommodate a hoop petticoat (not included), as it is pictured here. For a prairie or bohemian look, don\'t wear the petticoat. Probably designed for a theater production, the dress is well-made with a zipper up the back, and zippers on the long lacy cuffs. May be 100% cotton, but I believe the ivory lace has some polyester content. The Victorian method of making the waist appear smaller, is to make the skirt bigger. It\'s great fun to swish around in a big skirt. Even on a 5-hoop petticoat, you can see that there is ease of fit in the fullness of the skirt. There were no tags on this dress, estimated size is Ladies Small. A one-day costume rental would cost more than the Buy Now price! Sleeves 25\" long. 14\" from sleeve seam to sleeve seam. 28\" Waist. 36\" bust. 16.25\" Shoulder seam to waist. 40.5\" waist to bottom of hem. Hem has another 1.5\" it could be let out.
