This cover is listed in the current Dietz catalog at No. F7-3 on page 426. You can\'t go by the value of $4000 in the book. That value is for a postal used cover only. This of course is an unused cover. Postal used covers are rare or at least extremely scare! As I explained on the last CS cover I listed, any new and unused cover discovered will not be listed unless they are found to have been used. This cover is of course shown in the book in unused form; but, it is known in collections in used form.

This item is from the Gordon Bleuler Collection of Confederate Currency and Postal History accumulated in Dallas, TX between 1928 and 1955.
