(1850\'s) A.C.YATES CLOTHING CO.-SYRACUSE,NY.Miller-NY-1029. (NGC) MS-65 BN. Copper-29mm-Plain Edge-Wright-291. Clothing Emporium 13&15 North Salina St. with well-dressed portly old man in spectacles holding a placard for the store. Very popular design and this copper example is much scarcer than the brass variety!! This is an amazing-looking token to behold. It has very reflective surfaces, good cartwheel lustre, and beautiful pale blue highlights around the obverse periphery. The copper fields have taken on a steel-like-silvery appearance. Difficult to photo--looks great in hand. Finest one I\'ve ever seen!!
