Very attractive classic pinback from the 1896 campaign of William McKinley. A nice portrait of him on top of radiating golden rays that cleverly emphasize his gold backed \'Sound Money\' platform. Includes back paper with name of manufacturer \"Baldwin & Gleason Co. Ltd. New York\" \"CAMPAIGN BUTTONS AND BADGES\" \"PAT. AUG 8 1899\" as well as unusually bent pin as made to fasten more securely than the typical (W & H etc) straight pin.
Verycolorful and bright. Condition is Excellent with just a small concave dimple at about 3:00 o\'clock that hardly Sales Tax is charged on all salesmade within or shipped within the State of California. The only exception is for holders of a valid California State Resellers Permit, a copy of which must be made available to me in order to be exempt from the tax.
