We are offering for sale a clock. It is a German cuckoo, made in the Black Forest area. It is working. It is a large 8-day hunter style cuckoo. The movement is marked: 34/1/73 - Made in Germany - Regula - Pendell. The bellows are good. This is so impressive with the bird and rabbit on the front sides and the deer and antlers on the top and the crossed guns. The bugle has the bell and mouthpiece and the guns have a leather strap that goes around the deer\'s neck. I cannot find any damage on this clock. It has the original weights, pendulum and back door. The clock is 34\" long, 20\" wide and 20\" from the back of the case to the end of the antlers. It has a 6 1/2\" dial. I got this from a lady that says that her parents brought it back from The Black Forest area of Germany. Please note that for shipping I will be taking the deer from the top, there is one screw holding it on and the antlers are in by friction and I will be taking them off to protect them. Also note that the postage will be high as the estimated package weight is 24 lbs.Please see the pictures. Thanks to the er who questioned this. It made us look harder. The deer head and antlers are not carved wood. They are molded. To us it does not feel like plastic more like molded wood. It does not smoke when we put a hot needled to it and plastic would smoke. Everything else is carved wood.
