Here is a Crosby fife made by Cloos in Brooklyn, NY in the late 19th/early 20th century. It measures 17\" long, is made of wood with some sort of black Japanned finish. Stamped CROSBY above monogram below the blow hole.
CONDITION: no cracks, chips or repairs evident. There is a small cork piece wedge above the blow hole, I don\'t know if it\'s original or not. I don\'t know how to even blow a fife, so I don\'t know if it works.
