Item may be but was likely manufactured in 2014 with the others I have. I just can\'t find a date on the pens. If so they should be good for a couple more years but understand there is an expiration on pepper sprays due to propellant having the possibility of leaking over time. The pepper content doesn\'t expire. Cold Steel uses a top quality propellant found in inhalers and I use some of my stock in seminars from time to time and have never ever had a failure from the same stock
