This beautiful compact is from the French clothing, skin care and perfumery couture house of Christian Dior.

The gold plate compact has the words \"Christian Dior Paris\" on the front of the compact and stamped at the top of the pouch.

The compact is an oval shape with hinges on one side.

The compact opens up to display two mirrors, one a normal range and the other magnifying.

The compact is polished gold on the front and back including the interior framework.

The cover is a plain, highly polished, not textured finished, the images show the reflection of the surrounding items in the image.

The compact is as new, it has had one owner and has not been used.
