Figural Spelter Mantle Clock

Up for your consideration is the Collection Francaise mantle clock. The movement is electric and currently not operational. This is a fine example of an older well preserved clock. There is some dust on it, but with a minor amount of attention, it will gleam again like it did years ago - don\'t get me wrong, it is not funky but it is not perfect either. We did not find any damage on it. Well protected and preserved. The glass on the door is original and the hinge is good and does not sag as many do. I do deal in antiques and collectibles, but I am not an expert at everything, but I can answer specific questions you have. I also have several otherthings listed you might be interested in. Not quite sure what is going on with the movement. First off it doesn\'t run, but it may also not be original to this clock? There is a hole in the face like there should be a key wind movement, but it is not ??? I couldn\'t find another clock like this, so I just dunno. The pictures show the clock well.

Two figures in spelter - Woman is holding a book and a bundle of wheat. The man is holding some papers which look like they came out of his satchel and then carrying something else in his other hand. They are both just over 12\" tall. The figures and clock case are metal. The base and feet appear to be wood ? A really spectacular clock we are offering you here today.

Overall it measures 15-1/2\" tall x 8-3/4\" deep x just under 17\" wide. And weighs almost 25 pounds without box or packaging.
