Printed Cotton Fabrics.Description:
These incredibly gorgeous antique fabrics were printed on cotton, cotton chintz and linen (1) in France during the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries.
The designs feature a lovely ikat floral; ticking stripes; a paisley; stylized provencal leaves; an elaborate scroll and medallion;
wild rose vines against a tiny geometric pattern; and a stylized floral that\'s very deco in spirit against a check pattern.
The colors include varying tones of blue, cream, off-white, red, brown, black, grey, tan and aqua. Fabric #1 measures 27 1/2 inches in width by 13 1/4 inches in length.
Fabric #2 measures 30 inches in width by 18 inches in length.
Fabric #3 measures 28 3/4 inches in width by 18 inches in length.
Fabric #4 measures 9 inches in width by 24 1/2 inches in length.
Fabric #5 measures 25 1/4 inches in width by 11 1/4 inches in length.
Fabric #6 measures 15 1/4 inches in width by 8 3/4 inches in length.
Fabric #7 measures 24 1/2 inches in width by 33 inches in length.
Fabric #8 measures 22 1/4 inches in width by 20 inches in length. These medium to heavy weight fabric would be ideal for pillows, doll clothes, quilting or other sewing projects!Condition:
This is antique fabric.
#2 has fading, especially in the top center area and along the right edge. #3 has stains along the top edge.
#4 has stains and needle imprints from when it was once quilted. #5 has stains throughout.
#6 has stains/unevenness of color here and there. #7 has stains throughout.
